New data protection regulations from the European Union, known as GDPR, went into effect on May 25, 2018. For this reason, we have provided details about how you can manage your personal data.
Who will this affect?
This will affect people who signed up to the FIG Newsletter or have subscribed to Monthly Donations.
Regarding the FIG newsletter, our current settings will stay the same. Namely, your contact details will continue to be stored in our Mailchimp account (an app for sending email campaigns & newsletters) for the sole purpose of the Newsletter Subscription. Our Mailchimp account is password protected. In addition, the archived data is protected by Mailchimp’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service which you can read at this link, https://bit.ly/2IwqN6a
As for Monthly Donation subscriptions, our current settings will stay the same. Your personal data will continue to be stored in our PayPal account (which is password protected) for the sole purpose of the monthly donation. This personal data is protected by PayPal’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service which can be read at the following link, https://bit.ly/2KGoPwy
Any personal data, videos or photos shared on our website or social media accounts may be deleted or changed by emailing us at FIGhounds@gmail.com.
What do you need to do?
To ensure we are GDPR compliant, we emailed newsletter subscribers and monthly donation subscribers to offer the options of opting in or out.
